WDIY’S ONE
ALE OF A NIGHT Goes Vintage! - Saturday, November 1st
More than just a
wine-tasting, more than just a fund-raising event.
This year WDIY 88.1’s
One Ale of A Night provides the attendee with a night of wine and
beer tasting, dinner and dancing, as well as an opportunity to bid
on some fabulous prizes including a week in an apartment in Paris, a
Polk Digital Entertainment System, a Royal Caribbean cruise, an
Olympus digital camera, artwork, jewelry, the list goes on and on!
The evening will start
with butlered and tabled hors d’oeuvres and move on to a scrumptious
dinner tasting of made-to-order pastas, prime rib and a mashed
potato bar! All of these paired with fabulous wines and beers.
Flaming desserts are served as the band,
SLICKED UP 9’S, begins to
play and the silent auction ends. You can dance til midnight to
their swing era sounds.
The theme is “vintage”
and we encourage you to come in costume if you so choose. If not,
dressier attire (although not black tie) is encouraged. Business
casual is fine as well.
All of this for only $70
per person! Reservations are still available and can be made by
calling 610-366-9220. The deadline is Monday, October 27!
Tell your friends, and
bring a friend….We hope to see you there!

A New Year's Eve birthday celebration suddenly turned
tragic and halted a local Northeastern Pennsylvania
musician's career at the precipice of a potential
breakthrough. With months of physical therapy behind
him and, possibly, years more ahead of him, he's ready
to take the stage at the Waverly Community House on
April 12, 2008, to launch PocoNotes' four-event acoustic
storytelling series, "Hear 'Em at The Comm." [TOP] |
